Cliff and Heike Wright are global assignment missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene in Ukraine.

They were assigned as intern missionaries to Ukraine in July 1999. Prior to this first missionary appointment, Cliff served as a Russian linguist in the USAF for 22 years. He was ordained on the British Isles South District in March 2001.

Cliff works in the area of pastoral oversight, pastoral education (Theological Education by Extension), church planting, evangelism, and humanitarian aid distribution. He also works with the JESUS Film teams and Work and Witness teams serving Ukraine. His pastoral education responsibilities also include leadership development among the laity.

Cliff was raised in the state of Georgia and attended Trevecca Nazarene College (now Trevecca Nazarene University) from 1974-1977. While assigned to Germany when in the USAF, in 1991, Cliff sensed God calling him to work in the former Soviet Union. While still serving in the USAF, he attended European Nazarene Bible College) in Busingen, Germany and graduated in 1993. He retired from the USAF in 1999.

Heike was raised in Bergenwiler, Germany. She became a Christian in 1977 and joined the Hanau (Germany) Church of the Nazarene in 1979. Heike supports Cliff in his ministry and manages the Ukrainian financial accounts. She provides a strong home atmosphere for the family and for those who visit the home.

The Wrights have two children: Kristen and Jonathan.
