Welcome Redemption!

On July 26th The Group "Redemption" from Eastern Nazarene College
came to Minister to Us!
“For the
grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men It
teaches us to say "No” to ungodliness and wordless passions, and to
live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
while we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing or our
God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us
from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his
very own, eager to do what is good.” Titus 2:11-14 NIV
This year
the Summer Ministry Program at ENC is sending out four groups of
students from the colleges academic region which reaches from
Virginia to Maine and as far west as PA and NY. The teams have been
meeting and rehearsing together since the Fall 2008 semester.
Freshmen through Seniors, with a variety of backgrounds and majors,
are chosen to work and travel together through a highly competitive
audition and interview process.
From June through August the
teams make stops at Youth and Family camps, churches and VBS’s.
While the personality of each team is different, all have diligently
prepared to spread a unified message, drawing on their distinct
perspectives and backgrounds, as well as their cohesion as a team,
to encourage, instruct, and increase the faith of those to whom they
minister.

Sean Williams is a sophomore Religion major from Hagerstown,
MD. He currently plays guitar for Chapel Worship Team. Sean is
excited to meet many new people and play music. He really wants
God to take him out of his “comfortable faith.”

MA. She is a member of a Chapel Worship Team, A Cappella Choir,

from Petersburg, PA. Sam has spent the past as a varsity
Baseball player, Chapel Worship Team leader, Bible Study member,
and Intramurals participant. He has also traveled to Ethiopia.

involvement lies in A Cappella and Gospel Choirs, Social and
Recreational Life Committees, and currently serves as the
